Salus Global today announced the release of the 15th Edition of Obstetrical Clinical Content prepared exclusively for their flagship OB safety and performance program MOREOB.

In recognition of this 15th release, there are 15 updates or enhancements including not only the incorporate of current information into chapters, posters and quizzes but also new workshops on Skin to Skin in the OR and new videos on breech and shoulder dystocia.

The annual review process is overseen by the Obstetric Content Review committee of the Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (SOGC). The updates consider the worldwide literature and reader feedback.  With MOREOB’s innovative Online platform, members can hyperlink to new information and content using ‘what’s new in this edition’.

Open to current MOREOB Program participants, the coveted Patient Safety Award is presented annually and recognizes healthcare teams who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to improving patient safety within their obstetrical unit.

To qualify for the award, teams must demonstrate exceptional team effort in the innovative application of learnings and concepts from the MOREOB Program which contributed to quality improvement, culture change and/or improved clinical outcomes.

This year’s winners are:
•   Hôpital Brôme-Missisquoi-Perkins, Cowansville, CIUSSS Estrie-CHUS in in Quebec
•   North Bay Regional Health Centre in Ontario
•   Joint submission by Royal Columbian Hospital and Peace Arch Hospital in British Columbia
