Open to current MOREOB Program participants, the coveted Patient Safety Award is presented annually and recognizes healthcare teams who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to improving patient safety within their obstetrical unit.

To qualify for the award, teams must demonstrate exceptional team effort in the innovative application of learnings and concepts from the MOREOB Program which contributed to quality improvement, culture change and/or improved clinical outcomes.

Patient Safety Awareness Week

March 13-19 is Patient Safety Awareness Week. #Unitedforpatientsafety

Patient Safety Awareness Week is an annual education and awareness campaign for health care safety led by the National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF). Each year, health care organizations around the globe take part in the event by prominently displaying the NPSF campaign logo and promotional materials within their organizations, creating awareness in the community, and utilizing NPSF educational resources among hospital staff and patients.

Salus Global is pleased to announce that Nancy Whitelaw, Director of Research and Development has been appointed to the Relational Coordination Research Collaborative (RCRC).

Commenting on the appointment, Ms Whitelaw said, “When one of us is asked to be join the Board of another organization it is both an honor and a privilege.  I look forward to serving and to representing Salus Global’s partnership with the Collaborative.”
