Public Health Agencies worldwide have recently confirmed travel-related cases of Zika virus.  

While the risk of virus establishment in many countries is low, there is ongoing risk for travelers to the Caribbean, Central and South America.

Pregnant women and those who are considering becoming pregnant, are urged to take precautions against mosquito bites if travel to endemic regions cannot be postponed. Current evidence shows a possible association between Zika virus infection and an increased risk for serious health effects on a developing baby.
